Before & after!

Before & after!

I do love to show people before & after photos of gardens I have designed. It’s always great to prove what can be done & for me it’s reassuring to see the end results of my time at my drawing board & the toil involved in creating beautiful gardens.

I saw a client yesterday who was originally incredibly nervous about making any changes at all but really wanted a lovely garden. She is now over the moon! …they use the garden constantly & will be celebrating a big birthday in it this summer. I hadn’t realised but yesterday she said prior to this being built they never actually sat in it. Job done! 🙂 Here it is – same view before & after. I designed a large terrace that links the L shaped house & really shows off the views beyond. The paddocks you can see are theirs too. Quite a difference!

Below believe it or not is the same view. One I really love…

This next one is my old house when we bought it in 2011 & then once we had redesigned & created the garden. We did this one ourselves with the help of our lovely friend Oneil who was brilliant. We sold it in 2017.

This next one is Pip’s Place from my website which was a totally blank canvas when I first visited. It’s been a fantastic project to work on & for a really lovely client….

Same view here. we had to screen the air-conditioning units which had bizarrely been placed right beside the house. This hedge does the trick & creates a lovely garden room too…

This shows the other side of the house & shows the amazing before & after. It is one of Ginni’s favourite areas & I think mine too. Credit to Rob & team for a fabulous build.

Orchard House above was quite a radical transformation & one I’m really proud of. It’s been part of the NGS Open Gardens scheme for many years now & has garnered a great income for charity. My client loves it & Rob & his team who built it did a great job.

Above is just a snippet of a very large garden I designed that shows what a great job Tom & team did making it happen. See Pye Hill to see the rest.

I have many more (I’ve been doing this for a very long time!) but I need to get on with some work now.

Have a lovely weekend all!
