What a range of projects!

What a range of projects!

Normally I show you drawings & plans of gardens I’m working on or work in progress or beautiful images of completed gardens. This time I’m showing you the before shots of these projects I currently have on my books. There’s a manor house in Warwickshire, a couple of farms with many acres, a new build Georgian style mansion, a Cotswold cottage, an uber modern glass house near Henley on Thames, our barn & a plot in Bristol where the existing house is to be torn down.

Here are some …

What is fascinating about my job is the variety of work I am given. I am so lucky to be able to work on such a range of projects with such differing architecture. It means I am never EVER bored! My job is to see beyond any mess or rubble & picture what could be there. It’s quite a process & clients place a great deal of trust in my hands. It is an honour to have this job – a job I adore that is so creative but also quite personal; I design bespoke schemes to suit each client & their needs. To suit their likes & lifestyle & of course to work in harmony with the buildings. It’s quite a challenge that requires vision & knowledge of design, architecture, plants, building materials – and occasionally diplomacy! I am always learning new things & exploring new ideas as well as working with tried & tested techniques & people. There is a team of people behind every finished garden & I work with some of the best.

How lucky am I? 🙂

I’ll keep you posted on how they progress

Til then bye for now
