CHIC COURTYARD

An elegant contemporary courtyard in Henley

This new courtyard was designed to be an outdoor 'room' to link the modern house with the garden. It was designed to bring in much needed light, be easy to maintain, have sound, simplicity and elegance. In a small space everything has to count but 'less is more'! The water wall has been designed for impact and is very much a focal point together with the fish pool. Complementary planting has been designed with structure in mind - tall grasses and bamboos bring in height, whilst topiary spheres add a classical element. Lights are utilised to make this a 12 month 24 hour garden - much enjoyed by its owners (us!).
